This is a test site. Any registrations are for test purposes only.
Research Paper Judges:
Research paper judges read and score research papers online at their leisure using
their own internet connection. We ask that each judge please score at least 6 papers
(4 absolute minimum) within either high school or middle school. If you score both high school
and middle school, you need to plan to score 6 or more per division.
Research papers will be read and scored at your leisure from
February 7-17, 2020

Judges' assignments and supper begins at 3:30 p.m.
This year projects will be pre-assigned based on your registration requests as much as possible.
We need judges to judge both within their expertise and educated judges to judge outside their
field of expertise so that the students will have to clearly present their projects to scientists
who may not know the jargon of the project.
Both parking and a light supper & snacks are provided (catered) for judges and volunteers.
Judging for all levels begins by 4:00 PM.
Judging for high school is expected to be done by 9 or 9:30 PM and judging for middle school
is expected to be done by 6:30 to 8:30 PM, with grade 6 finishing first. The ending time depends
entirely on the number of judges that come and how long the judges take to evaluate their projects
and turn in their results to the Judging Area.
Please plan to volunteer or judge at least 3 hours. If you have questions, please email
judging@tcrsf.net or call.
Please register your RSVP on the website so we know you are coming.
Please change your RSVP if your schedule changes before the fair.
DRESS: business casual is recommended.
SHOES: Fee free to wear confortable shoes. Tennis shoes or walking shoes are certainly acceptable.
PARKING: We recommend the Midway Parking Lot on Liggett St. See Schedule Tab,
Maps page
FOOD: The fair provides a catered dinner (buffet style from Mintáhoe Catering and Events) and later
some pizzas are added to the buffet. All volunteers and judges are included in the dinner.
Do judges need to show up on Saturday to the fair? No. All judging is completed on Friday evening.
